Long ago (early 90's) I had a daughter with a girl I was to marry. She left with another guy, and took our baby with her. At the time I was pretty poor and wasn't able to put up much of a fight. Later I learned she didn't care for the girl and my daughter was taken by Texas child services as a ward of the state.
I think of Diana often, and it's very upsetting to know I have a daughter out there somewhere, and she doesn't even know me. Now I have a good job, and make great money. I wish I could find her, but there seems to be little or no resources for me to locate her. I loved the baby so much that I have never emotionally healed from the seperation.
I am hoping to find advice as to what I could do, since there seems to be no help in the system for fathers estranged that were never married to the mother. I miss that baby, and want to reach out to her. Any ideas?
