I am filing a long term disabilty claim due to stage IV cancer. My employer paid the premium, but I was wondering if I could reimburse my employer for any portion (1 to 3 years ) of the premium in order to reduce the future tax on the benefit income?

How wonderful that would be! If you could do such things, you could also go to Las Vegas and make a bet, if the number comes up, you get to increase the bet and get paid for the win.

I hate to be flippant for something so serious , but, no, you cannot change the past facts to fit your current situation.
