Lucky but now stuck

DELAWARE: I am a mother of 2 that was addicted to prescrip pain meds and benzos, for 2 years, supplied by my family doc who I had seen for 22 years, starting in 2003 he supplied me with over 100 scripts for pain meds, (originally had back injury) then in 2004 was 173 scripts from Tylenol 3 - Oxycontin (20mg-80mg) along with advising i CHEW them, of course I turned into an addict, my doctor was my supplier,,he would call me to offer me meds, mail scripts, have me come pick them up. He then asked me to be his manager, he demoted the original one, i worked for him for 1 week with over 700 pills prescribed over that time...then found out his "true" intentions. On my way to work I was arrested for a DUI/drugs..the prob cause was failure to stay in single lane..the next day i checked into rehab, 2 days later they told me I was having liver failure *my counts were in the 6700's" (normal ALT & AST's are under 50) and I was rushed to hospital and stayed for 6 days where they detoxed me (after suffering seizures). I hired an attorney and got a new doc...I was looking at a FULL DUI conviction, by the love of god at the end of april, the state offered 1st time offenders, 40 hours community service, heres my problem..according to the court, i was sentenced to probation,,,for 9 days now I have been on the phone with everyone (all of whom have nothing about probabation.;/therefore creating it very hard to complete an intake - Finally, I called the court, they informed me I was on Level 1 and was in violation already...I told her the names of each person and county I contacted...she said she would fax the info to them..2 days later...still no paperwork on me anywhere....I went to P&P and talked to supervisor...he said he would help but my attorney should be the one investigating this....well,,,I got a good-bye letter from him 3 days after the court date...Is this legal.....If Im on probation...until I have completed my service work...isnt he supposed to still be my lawyer??? There is also so much more to my story. just to much to list right now..

You will have to complete your probation.

Lisa - Your attorney terminated services for some reason, contact another attorney ASAP. Have you been charged with a violation?

De courts are nuts

DE - update today, senior supervisor at Probation called the court, they told him I was NOT on probation, then the Work Program Director (for community service) called the court...got same answer..then I recvd phone call from court...to sum this up: Girl at court said "You were sentenced probation by the judge, but probation & parole dont want to sign you up??"" I said what could happen...she said when I complete my program and service work, the info gets sent back to the judge (magistrate), he reviews it, either signs off on it...or if he wants to, he can hold that against me...then put me in contemp, feees, more probation...ugggh.. Have you ever heard such a crazy thing? So now I feel like I should beg Probo to put me on Level 1..this is nuts.

I found it quite ignorant about asking for the docs name..I suppose your looking for some way to kill yourself..because I almost died...If your in here for drug charges....I can certainly see why...Obviously you have not a CLUE what this can do to your body.!!!!! you are need of some serious help!!

Hello, i was charged with first offenders DUI/drugs..The state dropped the fee for that charge, and the whole probation thing i cant answer right now as you can see, there are no points on my license. I had the evalution, she advised I would probably not be put into the DUI classes, since this involved drugs, told her the whole story about the doc..etc..she was going to write a seperate letter to the department to see if being under the care of a Psychatrist could be my program..My lawyer knew from the consultation what was involved, he took case...said caused him nothing but headaches, and that he was involved w/AG's office with my case MORE than any other DUI case he's ever had, and i suppose once my case was done and the charges, he wrote a dear john goodbye letter, just re-cap of trial, the at the bottom, said he no longer will participate in my case unless DIRECTED to do so, he would close the case then eventually purge..He will not even talk to me at this point.
