I was fired from my job for doing something that I was trained to do and that the company has done for years. The only problem is that this time when I did what I was trained to do it caused a Federal Government investigation of the company! When everything checked out to be okay, The company still fired me and took away my safety awards I had earned in the past! What can I do about this? By the way I am from UT. Oh by the way I didn't mention that 3 of us were put on leave with pay until the investigation was done but on two were hired back. But that was probably because my Boss threatend six months ago that he would find a way to fire me because he didnt like me! What would that be called?

I think you will need to explain more about your situation. The heading says that they took away your bonuses but you never mention it in your story. You only say they took away your previously earned safety awards. Overall, I think you may have a case for a wrongful termination but I am not sure yet. Please explain more about what you did, what governmental agency got involved, what was their findings, etc.
