I recently got a perm they gave me second degree chemical burn and also now i have an allergic reaction on my skin which has caused scarring and breakouts to top it off they used the wrong solution and fried my hair my hair is falling out .i feel depressed this is awefull i go to get a nice perm and get injured what should i do? the salon refunded my money but they will not fix my hair my hair is ruined. They admited to the wrong doing. The insurance company is researching this.I will have permanet scarring and need to see a skin specialist to.i need to know what i should do and if they offer me something what is fair?

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

I don't know what state you are in but this is something that is much more serious than a bad hair cut. As such, you need to seek a personal injury attorney ASAP who can help you file the necessary charges against the salon and their insurance company. Do not wait for them to make an offer, which will always be low. Especially if you have permanent scarring and/or future medical procedures.
