But, meanwhile, if you're unmarried, the father has no legal obligation to support unborn children. And, no, he can't simply sign away his legal obligations. Never, ever, ever take legal advice from an adversary.

When the children are born, file in court for support. They will insist in establishing paternity at that time (unless Dad voluntarily admits paternity). If Dad wants nothing to do with the kids, that's his choice, but he will still be responsible for child support. HOWEVER, you should never count on receiving child support. What happens if he dies or becomes disabled? Or simply refuses to pay (some people would rather go to jail then pay child support)? You will need to find a way to support your kids yourself. Then, if you get the child support, that's even better.

If he wants zero contact with you or his children that is his right. He is, however, responsible to help you financially support them.

I am hoping that he is just angry and lashing out. Once he has time to think all this over and come to terms with it, I believe he will want to be part of his children's lives.
