Okay well I need to know if you have to be a resident in Mississippi to get married and also what are all the requirements for teenagers without parental consent
My response:
You need to be a resident of MS for 6 months before a marriage license can be issued.
There are no age minimum limits to get married in MS. Theoretically, you could be 10 years old and get married. However, any age below the age of 18 requires "parental consent" or the consent of a judge.
But, if you are below the age of 17, and there are no extenuating circumstances, such as pregnancy, then good luck getting a judge to consent.
