What is the name of your state? Mi
I received my 2yr conditional card few months ago, me and my wife (US citizen) are falling apart because of my needy annoying mother in-law. It appears that my wife is a robot controlled by her mother, who made her have an abortion and even quitting her job. That did not bother me much, but now my mother in-law is trying to convince me not to go to grad school because she doesn_t want her daughter to be away from her. I disagreed with her request and she got so upset and even started mentioning things about divorce. So I just realized that I am married to my mother in law and my wife can't even take a stand on my side. If I will go Grad school there are chances that we might divorce, if so, then, what are the chances of filling a "waiver for a joint petition in removing conditions to be approved?"
On the other hand if I go to grad school and stay married, we will be having different addresses, will that be a problem when we jointly file the I-175 Petition whid dues in two years later?
Just for more info, our marriage is real, including name changing, we filled taxes together, a big wedding celebration, we are living together (lease) we own a car, bank account and all bills etc.
