I am From Ca and my boyfriend is from VA but both plan to live in VA prior to our unoin. We plan to marry out of the country (probably Mexico). What laws does the union fall under? Will it be community or non community property? Which state will regulate the union. What things do we need to look out for by taking this route? Bahamas is another choice for us is it better? What things do we need to do before and or after the union? Any info on this topic is appreciated. Thank you
