What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD

Does anyone know what happens after a child support order is written and the NCP parent is over 10 weeks late paying. Does a standard letter go out stating they need to pay or else?

My order states an amount, the NCP parent paid about 20% of what she owed after 10 weeks of non-payment. I guess what I'm trying to figure out is she just paying the minimum portion before getting into trouble.

I havent' heard from her in almost a year. She came to the CS hearing, after ignoring the notice a few times. Didn't come until a warrant was going to be sent out for her.

I called them yesterday, they didn't give me an answer, they said "it all depends upon the case"

I was hoping someone from Maryland could say, yes after 60 days of non-payment a letter is automatically generated.

Everything is on-line now, I can my account and balance posted daily.

typically she ignores all letters/court/motions until the last second. She just got a ticket for driving with a suspended registration and was wondering if she got a letter stating she would then have a suspended license to go along with it. The vehicle may not even be hers, I don't know what she is driving right now. Lots of unknowns in this case.

Thanks.
