msiron. They did have the vehicle returned to them in the indicated timeframe. Are you saying I could go to the dealer today and have this resolved due to the fact of it being emissions related? When it was returned on Feb.16, I was informed the work would be done by a certified Porsche shop other than their service dept so the car is probably not there anyway. I've had this car in my possession less than 24hrs total which was on Feb.15 The dealer has had it otherwise.

(they probably don't have a certified L1 tech who can do the work, Once emission fails only the L1 tech can by law work on/fix that car.

First time you showed up documents the opening of the claim for these emissions related issues, YES this is a federal mandatory test which states agree to participate in for perks, yep Perks are involved. You play my game I play your, you don't play my game you don't funded for ???? whatever the dangling carrot of the moment is.

By hook or crook they have to either fix that car themselves or send it out to be done. You must get it back in passing condition or it's back to the drawing board with them.

I din't know the depth of your problem but I'm sure your car is throwing codes and exhibiting some signs of problems whether it a hiccup in thrid gear, or surge at idle, or buck under wot.

They own that car until it's fixed (Oh they know it too)

I returned to dealer yesterday. The car had been repaired and ready since last week. The sales manager and salesman assumed either one or the other had contacted me to let me know. Obviously some serious miscommunication going on there. I requested an emissions readout and stood by the machine as the test was in progress to verify the test as passing . I do appreciate the valuable feedback in response to my potential problem . A simple email or phone call from the dealer would have put my mind to rest prior to writing in . Thanks to all.
