My family and I are very much interested in getting into an online auction business.
I have been disabled and collecting SSD from the Government for about 11 years.
I know any money I earn through this business would be taken away from me as back payment from the years I've been collecting. Sorry for so many details but I need to be precise about this. Now putting everything
In my wife's name (she shares my last name of course) would that affect me at all?

I think you need to ask an accountant, they will definetly know more about tax code than a lawyer. This is a question that should be easy for an accountant to answer.
