What is the name of your state? NJ

Does a Medical POA need to be notarized? Someone at the nursing home where my in-laws are told me in the state of NJ that it was sufficient to have 2 witnesses. Thanks for any feedback.

Though some states do not require notarization for MPOA, it is ALWAYS good to have such a document notarized. Heck, third parties do not even have to accept POAs. You have already been advised about your parents' situation and really need to heed that advice because your parents cannot even write.
