What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? West Virginia
If I use my car to run errands for the company I work for (such as going to the bank or to pick up supplies) is the company required to reimburse me for usage by the miles driven and if so how much per mile are they required to pay?

No. Mileage is required by law only in California and Massachusetts (and only sometimes in Massachusetts).

Whew...I still have some serious concerns about the qualifications of someone at the GM level who would have such nit-picky complaints, and in fact doesn't already possess this rather low-level information.

You really must love degrading others to make yourself feel better....sorry I have no law degree....I have only been an exempt employee for 6 months....so I should be belittled for asking about the rights and laws of employees? To not know something and be afraid to ask because you are afraid you might look stupid.....is stupid.....I don't know.....that's why I came here to ask.
