Alright, I've filed the petition and the consent from my ex to have my daughter's last name changed. I get this letter that tells me I need all this other stuff including a proposed final judgement (plus 4 copies) and my own consent for the name change (how does that make any sense since I am the petitioner???) Also the HRS form to have the name changed on her Birth Certificate. Fine, I can get all that stuff. It also says I need 4 preaddressed stamped legal sized envelopes. Who are they supposed to be preaddressed to?????I figure one to me, one to my ex, one to HRS? and who else? I don't know. I am so frustrated with this whole thing. I want to give up. I'm so tired of it all and they are so mean up at the court house.
