Today I was pulled over for speeding, then apparently the officer smelled weed. However I do not smoke, so I do not know why the smell was there. So then the officer proceeded to search my car... and found two open bottles(which were empty) one in my glove box and one in my book bag.. I did not drink these, they were from a friend who left them in my car and I was going to throw them away. I also had two other bottles and a bottle of ciroc (which was closed)... The unopened bottles were supposed to be for someone else and I was going to give them to them... I was charged with MIP , Open container, and the speeding... I am 18 and have no priors...

What can I do to try to get the best outcome in this situation?
What are the outcomes of this situation?
Should I be worried this could ruin my life?

Hire an attorney.
Depends on what kind of deal your attorney can work out.
