What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Iowa

This is involving a website by a professional in the equine business, he is using photos of my horse taken by me and in the manner they are being used is misrepresentation of service performed. During the time period the photos were taken, I did send them to him. There is a slim timeline as to when he quit working on my horse and when he put up a website with the photos. My horse did promote his fledgling business greatly. Main issue is that he quit on me and left my horse in an unsound condition and now he is promoting his expertise fraudulently with my photos.

I'm not sure how much more information you need but I will answer any questions. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Thank you for answering my post. I do see where I didn't fully explain my intentions. Do I have any legal rights regarding the photos of my horse that is on this man's website, he has them shown in a manner that he rehabbed her when in fact he did not, I have proof. How do I have those photos removed?

Am I naive to think that a person that is promoting their business on the internet with a personal website can use any material belonging to me that is presented in a manner that is totally false has all the rights and I have none?

Have a local attorney send him a C & D letter. It may or may not work, but it's a good first step and probably your least expensive option.
