What is the name of your state? OH
My husband resides in NY where we lived together for most of our marriage. I received 2 papers from my husband today through the regular mail. One is a "Statement of Service by Mail" and the other is "Action for a Divorce" Apparently I am supposed to appear or answer the complaint within 30 days of service. We agree on everything....this is an extremely uncomplicated divorce. We took what we wanted when we decided to live apart, no property, no minor children, no spousal support etc.
It looks like they left out a form that I was supposed to sign and return by 30 days. What do I do to answer the complaint?
What can I do to expedite this? I can't sign something I didn't receive and I have no need to retain an attorney.
