i live in louisiana. my wife & I had an argument and she left with our two children. I have no idea where she is. On the 5th day she called me and told me she loved me and was coming home. Needless to say, she still hasn't returned. It has now been 10 days she has been gone. My greatest concern at this time is the children, 2mos old and 2 yrs old. My wife doesn't work or drive. I called her mother but she will not tell me where she is. I think she might been staying with a male friend, but am not sure. What are my rights as far as the children are concerned? I miss them and just want to see them and make sure that they are safe. stressed out in la.

Even though you are married, you have virtually no rights until you file for divorce/legal seperation with requests for court ordered visitation or custody of the children.
