I got a speeding ticket in my new state of Oregon, which I was told could only be contested by mail. I received the officer's statement, which incorrectly states that he verified my identity with an Oregon license. I only had a Washington State license when I was pulled over, but had since exchanged it for my Oregon license.
Is this mistake big enough to use as my sole defense, and if so, how do I prove I did not have an Oregon license at the time?
Thankyou!
