Does anyone know how to find records/title of a mobile home? My hubby is trying to get NCP served, she keeps moving around. She spends a lot of time at her boyfriends fathers trailer. The boyfriend and his father sold the house they co-owned in Dec 2004 and the boyfriends father purchased a mobile home.
Is there anyway to find out where this mobile home is? If it were "real property" you could search county recorders for the deed, but in California mobile homes are "personal property" so who keeps record of that? Any suggestions on how to find this info/address. I know the fathers name. I don't know the name of the trailer park-but I might be able to get it. I also considered calling the Trailer park office-do you think they would give me the address and space # if I gave them a good enough story?
