What is the name of your state? Ohio

I was recruited by a modeling agency that I found on the internet to do a promotional job during the LPGA golf tournament held in August, 2002. I signed and sent to them a copy of their modeling agreements and terms.. Now the problem is that I have yet to be paid by the modeling agency. The modeling agency said that they are waiting for the company that hired them to pay them before they can pay us. It has been over 4 months now and the modeling agency or company that we did the job for will not return my calls or e-mails. Is their any type of legal action that I can take against the modeling agency? I spent a weekend working this job and want my money, but they have been dragging their feet about this. What can I begin to do legally??

What does the agreement say as to payment?? Does it say anything about the agency obtaining payment from their client first??

If not, then send the agency a demand for payment in WRITING giving them 14 days to pay. Include a statement like, "In the event that payment is not received within 14 days from receipt, I will be forced to take legal action to recover the unpaid compensation, plus court costs and attorney fees".

Then, see what happens.
