What is the name of your state?TX
My mother in law bought a home about 2 yrs ago. Shortly thereafter they discovered issues such as cracked foundation, etc that was not disclosed. She has since had numerous health problems that have been diagnosed as mold poisoning. She has retained an attorney but he seems to be dragging his feet on everything he does. She hired an outside firm to do testing on the house and they have stated that the home will have to be destroyed and she will lose all of her possessions. According to the neighbors, the previous (and only) owner new the home had mold, etc. At this point all my mother in law wants to do is to be able to walk away from the home that she cant live in. Her attorney has advised her to file bankruptcy. This woman has excellent credit and it just seems a shame that she has to do that to not have to pay for a home that she cant live in. Does anyone have any suggestions on what she can do?

**A: yes, follow the advice from her attorney or get a 2nd and 3rd legal opinion.
