What is the name of your state? Pennsylvania
I would like some advice on how to handle this situation. In January of 2002 I received a monetary judgement against two defendents in the excess of 250k from the superior court of New Jersey:
Intentional Personal injuries sustained in New Jersey
$100,000 each for pain and suffering
2,500 each for court costs and depositions
15,350 for medical bills
10,000 for punitive damages
Question:
-How long do I have to enter this into a state wide lien?
-How would I register this state wide lien?
-How can I locate what the defendents own (Assets)?
-What would be the smartest approach to this judgement?
(Defendents might file for BK if they hae no assets, also both
defendents are in their mid 20's)
-Should I wait to see if the defendents have some type of asset to go after?
Any feedback from this forum would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
