This is related to the cyber stalker post. My ex has verbally threatened to f___ my life up. She has implied that she will get me thrown out of school, fired from work, and/or thrown in jail for some charge. Such threats are made more real by the fact that she is a wizard at computers and has terrorized ex-boyfriend by stalking them on the internet, using fake identities to buddy up with people they know and then generally driving wedges and harassing them. She has gotten one ex fired from his job by continually calling his boss with lies and telling of some minor misconduct. She has used the internet to hijack one ex's website and run up thousands of dollars on it. She stole another's id and visited sites and did things she knows law enforcement will keep tabs on, thereby submitting the ex to law scrutiny unfairly and illegtimately. She has the power to do most of this anonymously. He threats are usually non-descript, though the implication is there. She becomes enraged and constantly calls me and threatens to do horrible things (non-descript, but she implies the above) to me if I don't talk to her. So, what can I do legally speaking. Also, she's in Alabama and I'm in Illinois so I don't know which laws apply to whom. I'm justtrying to get on with my life. Any ideas?

you knew she did all of this to her other ex's and yet you went out with her? Have you reported her to the police regarding her threats to you and what she has done to her ex's?

It seems to me that perhaps rather than lie to her or any woman (including your new girlfriend that you cheat on with your "ex girlfriend") maybe you should just tell EVERYONE the truth about how you feel and let her go. I'll bet she would like the opportunity to go on with her life. I'm sure she is very beautiful and smart and can and would gladly do better than you if you'd just be honest and actually TELL HER that you want to break up with her rather than lie and cry and beg her not to leave you. My advice is stop lying to yourself, to her and to your new girlfriend and be a man. Don't be a foolish coward. Get on with your life and allow her to do the same by finally telling her the truth.
