What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? AZ

The attorney for the defendant issued a motion to dismiss on yesterday. Am I supposed to get a copy? Will we have a hearing? Do I need to amend my complaint?

you should get a copy of the motion & a memo supporting the motion.

you should have a hearing.

you should file an objection w/i 2 weeks.

you can file an amended complaint if you wish.

if dismissed, aim for dismissal without prejudice, then you can refile (new case)
