What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

If there is a municipality lien on a property, for example, due to a building code infraction, will the lien disappear in a foreclosure?

Some sites suggest that some municipality liens do disappear after a foreclosure.

**A: when the deed is issued after the foreclose sale, the property should be free and clear of the lien. This is based on the premise that the lien was paid off as a result of the sale.
