son

i live in new york. i need to know after 15 years if i can take my son's father back to court to increase my child support. i get $50.00 a week for the last 15 years. he is an electrician, and makes $70,000-$100,00. per year. I work for too. i am married and have been for 11 years. i have sole custody of my son. my son's father and i were never married. i had taken him back to increase this about 6-7 years ago and the hearing examiner at the time would not modify the support. something about that it was agreed on in 1986 before the law of a certain percentage of your income was in effect. any advice you can give me would be well appreciated.
