Honestly, I don't know too much about it but I'll tell you what I do know.
My friend and her mom moved to Guam. We went to school together and became close friends.
It's been many years since she moved to Guam. I never questioned her legal status.
Turns out, her mom "married" some american person to get legal status. But I've never seen him around whenever I went to their house.
It was a fake marriage.
And somehow, her mom got caught with that and now she's going to jail soon. She had the trial and everything and everything is already set.
I'm an american citizen by birth. And I really want my friend to come back to the US someday.
She tells me that there's nothing she can do and she can't ever go back to the US anymore.
I assume her and her family are on some kind of black list now, right?

Is there anything I can do later in the future to help her come to the US (mainland) legally?
Like gain legal status and just be able to live there legally, working, paying taxes and all?
Is there ANYTHING I can do??

They will probably be put on a ban list, but that doesn't necessarily mean that your friend will never be able to come back to the US.

How old was your friend when she came to Guam? How old is she now?

She was maybe about 12 or so when she came and now she's like 21. She went back to her home country not too long ago because she didn't want to stay on Guam.

She is headed for jail as opposed to plain old deportation?

And how did that happen exactly?
