my mom came with me to take my son to an appointment as we were getting ready to go into the building she slipped on ice outside of the steps to the entrance of the building and fell hard she did manage to get up and go into the office with us but was badly shaking up we went into our interview and left my mother in the waiting room with several secretaries watching her knowing what had just happened they ended up calling an ambulance for her cuz she hit her head pretty hard and twisted her back and she kept saying she felt like she was gonna pass out. she ended up getting a cat scan and an exam by a doctor she is ok but her back is still hurting her what i would like to know is who would be responsible for the hospital bill ? my mother has no insurance and no means to pay for it and i dont feel she should have to since the building owner did not salt properly. the building is rented by two different groups the one we were going to and a music store. any info would be a big help ty ps my mom isnt trying to get rich off this by suing anyone she would just like the medical bills taking care of if at all possible
