FLORIDA.

So, my mother got married with a non resident in the United States, she being also a non resident, what I wonder is if getting married in the United States and having the document of marriage is of any help for a VISA, or if the marriage in U.S. soil means any type of VISA at all, for her, and possibly for her children.

Date of marriage was 2002.

Thanks for your answer.

What it did was assure documentation she has been illegal for many years. Likely a guarantee her n hubby will never be granted citizenship.

I don't get it, none are living in the U.S. anymore, because of will they left the Country, yet they married with a legal visa at the time in the United States, I was just wondering if the document of marriage is of any use or any mean in regards to a VISA.

Nope, all it documents is you come from a family that it is risky for the gov't to consider giving visa's to.

why is that so, my mother got married in the United States, but at the time we were millionaires and for your information, on my blood there runs European heritage as all of my descendants are from Europe just like most of the population in this small Country named Uruguay that is on the planet, so yes, I don't care about what you've written but just trying to send some info to your eyes that differs from the typical Mexican family that I also do hate, and hated as living in the U.S.

Don't let the door hit your bigoted backside on the way out.

And to think, on the other board, we treated you with respect. Shame you couldn't do the same for the volunteers here.

Also, I'm trying to find my way to get back to the U.S. because I really liked the Country and started traveling to the U.S. when I was a kid, more specifically to Miami and Orlando theme parks from which I have great memories and many souvenirs, also, as opposed to the bag you specify in your signature which specifies that if immigrants where to go outside of the U.S. unemployment rate would drop to 3%, me and my two sisters (all white by the way in case it comes to races, Italian and Portuguese last names, yet all white, as most Italian and Portuguese people), we just make it all A+'s not even A, A+ through middle school and part of high school which we attended in there so we clearly overcame many Americans that also studied hard but just didn't have it in their brains, most likely people that are hard to reason or aren't really that up to date with statistics, etc. So thanks for replying anyways.

There is no respect in specifying that if my mother got married in Florida, with a big legal wedding party that it is risky to assign us VISAS, it's just stupid reasoning, we left the Country because of assets in our Country and as I'm the only one in the family willing to take the plane again I just wondered whether it would help at all the document of marriage, that's all. I'm also wondering about studies made there, if that would help, but it seems all of that is unhelpful, right now the deal would be to get a job or go to invest with over a million as that's required and at the time it's very hard to get for me.

I really don't care.

You were given the correct response elsewhere.

Call an attorney.

I have to comment here....

Just because your parents chose the US for their wedding locale does not give them any status in the US. And for the sake of some of the people who responded here just because people chose the US for their wedding locale doesn't make their marriage invalid or mean that they attempted any immigration fraud. All they did was have a "destination wedding" just as many US citizens choose to have a "destination wedding" outside of the US.

Nor would such a wedding have any effect on any of the participants or the extended family in getting a tourist visa to visit the US. Sheesh people...lighten up. Ok, the OP doesn't have a clue about how immigration laws work, but that doesn't automatically mean that the OP has any fraudulent intent.

I can agree with you HOWEVER OP is a bigoted, racist idiot whose likes the which most educated individuals would not wish to help.

I would agree too, except that she lumped all the responders in the same boat when only one responder implied any type of fraud. That always bothers me about her.
