My ohio DL is up for suspension. I have been doin some research and noticed that Tennessee isn't part of the compact state. So could I possibly go there and get a TN drivers license the be okay for a year until my Ohio suspension is up? Please help. Thanks
You are apparently not aware of the national driver's license register.
The dlc allows your home state to penalize you for offenses committed in another state. The national driver register is simply a database of the condition of a person's license situstion in any given state. Since all states report to the national driver register, your suspension in Ohio will be known by the DMV in tennesssee.

Yes, there are people that have slipped through the cracks.
Regardless, unless you actually move to Tennessee you won't be eligible for a Tennessee driver's license and regardless of any other states driver's license you have, if you reside in Ohio you are legally required to have an Ohio driver's license if you drive in Ohio.
Additionally, regardless of any other states license you may legally possess, Ohio can suspend your driving privileges within their state. That means even if you obtained a license from Tennessee you still wouldn't be able to drive legally in Ohio.
