I live in Oregon. In June I moved into a new apartment. I gave my roommate first and last months rent when I moved in. She neglected to give the landlord my last months rent without my knowledge. A total of $350. I have a receipt from her and proof from the landlord that she didn't give him that portion of the money. I've paid my landlord my last months rent directly now. He says that it's my responsibility to get my $350 back from her. Is this a small claims court case? How would I go about doing this? Would it cost me more money to take her to court than the $350 she owes?

I'm a 20 year old college student and $350 is a lot of money to me right now. Any suggestions would be awesome.

ps: She has refused to pay me back several times. We later found out that she used the money to pay a court fine of hers.
