What is the name of your state? VA My ex ran with my child. The detective looking for her got a phone call from her. Ex now says my son isn't mine; there is a potential other father. When the baby was born, I wasn't on the birth certificate. Babys mom & I had it added last year. We both had to "Swear" this was my child... Ex also said that she didn't know the agreement we made, Joint Custody, was going to be part of the custody agreement... Finally, the detective said ex gave her an address, but she couldn't give it out. I haven't spoken to my son in SIX WEEKS! Why can't I just go pick him up????? What do I do???????

If there is another potential father it would be wise to cooperate with a DNA test. The child is young enough that it would be very unlikely that you could retain legal fatherhood if you are not the biological father.

I realize that this is your court ordered parenting time...however she has raised an issue that really needs to be addressed before you move much further.
