Can any one help me? I have filed a Petition for a name change in the state of Texas for my 12 year old daughter. I did this Pro Se with the documents found on another web site. My Ex live in Minnesota and has not seen or talked to his daughter in 7 years. We notified him and I set a court date. On the day of the hearing the Judge notified me that my Ex had sent a letter of Non Consent, This was not surprising to me but I thought He had to show up in court! No the Judge stated that there was one more step I needed to take to finalize this. I have tried to find this info all over the web to no avail. Does anyone out there know what procedure I need to take? Is it to file a "Motion for him to Appear in court?. if this is what I need to do I can handle it on my own if not maybe it's something else?

Help Please.
