What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

I now have custody of our children and the NCP is behind in CS. I filed a motion for contempt and she filed a response.

**Is it wise and / or necessary to respond to every response sent to the court by the Respondent?

(that sounded odd.. hope you can make sense of the question!)

tyvm for your answer!

Went to court in June, I had a STACK of evidence in my favor including the deposition of my 12 year old daughter.Judge ruled in my favor, mom threw a hissy fit and after being told to stop she continued. Judge had her remanded from court & she did a 24 hour stay in the local county motel. ;)

All is well here. CJane, you and all the others who have helped me here are priceless. Thank you so very much!

Another Pro Se Dad is victorious on the behalf of the children thanks to a lot of hard work and the valuable advice here.

Not only is it not necessary for you to respond to her responses, it would be very unwise to respond.

I know of a case where the NCP made a huge mistake in filing a response to everything his ex filed because she was telling soo many lies. In the end, all it did was confuse the Judges, which resulted in unfair and unlawful rulings. Not to mention that the case file grew to over 8 volumes, with approx 200 pages per volume.
