What is the name of your state? New Joisey

I have a couple of questions, My grandmother wrote a will a couple of years back. My mother (Laura) is the executor of it. My uncle (Luke) has the will, but won't show it to Laura, for some odd reason. Could there be a chance he had my grandmother change the will? By the way, my grandmother has dementia. My uncle is a sly mofo, so I need to know if there is a place where I, or my mother, the power of attorney, could obtain the will? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeed this answer....Thank you in advance.

Unless you know the name of the attorney who may have helped her draft the will, you probably won't get access to it until the death occurs. And I'll be willing to bet anything that yes, he probably did use undue influence to have Laura disinherited or her share of the inheritance greatly reduced.

You need to make sure that at the time of her approximate signing of the will that she had not yet been diagnosed with the dementia and was supposedly of sound mind.

This can be very important if you have to contest the will so you need to obtain the records/doctor's statements now rather than years down the road.
