What is the name of your state?I Live In Nc.
I Bought A Modular Home 3 Years Ago And Put It On My Land I Own.i Paid All The Money That Was Needed To Finance It And I Was Told To Come In Because My Financing Would Not Be Approved Until I Give Them Another $6thousand Dollars. Which Was Fine So I Already Was Living In The Modular It Was On My Land And They Tell Me This. When I Got There They Told Me To Leave That Their Lawyer Would Be Contacting Me. 3 Years Later Nobody Has Contacted Me And I Had This Modular On My Land Paying Taxes On It And Insurance. I Talked With A Lawyer And He Said That I Have A Free House But I Wont Have A Deed. He Also Searched For This Company That I Bought The Modular Off Of And They Were Gone Packed Up And Gone. They Told Me Nothing Until Now 3 Years Later. I Got A Paper To Appear In Court Because They Want Their Modular Back. Can They Take The Modular And Isnt This Considered Abandonment? What Are My Rights? Can They Just Come And Take It? Oh The Letter I Received To Appear In Court It Was Sent To Me The Middle Of December I Just Got It Last Thursday And It Has The Wrong Road Address Where I Live. I Really Believe That They Didnt Intend For Me To Get It So They Can Say What They Want. The Hearing Is On Monday The 24th And I Will Be There.please Help Any Advice I Would Appreciate.
