What is the name of your state? NC

I have a quick question. When I am finally able to leave the house with the kids, would it be frowned upon by the courts if I moved in with a friend. She is looking to leave her boyfriend and will have to find her own place to live. But if we got a big enough house for my two kids and her boy would that hinder my chances of getting custody?

As long as she isn't the kind of person who could be demonstrated to be dangerous to children it wouldn't hinder you at all. Judges are not biased against moms who have other moms as roommates.
