wondering if anyone has advice for getting HOA's management company to respond? In this latest case, the door to my electric meter has somehow warped and is wedged tight -- will not open. So the electric company can't read the meter. I'm responsible for paying all my own utilities, and am getting notes from the electric company --but the outdoor closet in which the meter is located is considered common property. I've been calling my HOA for a month requesting repair, and they keep telling me that they've already called the vendor, but nothing happens. Nor will they let me contact vendor directly (or even tell me who it is). This is not the first time they have not responded to repairs -- they once left a gaping hole in my garage roof for 3 or so weeks. Any way to force them to respond? What if I pay for repair, then present them with bill? Any way to get them to pay (i doubt they will?)
