Need my car pulled

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I need my car towed a few blocks, but don't feel the 50 bucks or so the tow truck wants to charge me is justifiable. I was going to have my friend pull me in his car. Is that even legal?

I wonder if the ticket will be cheaper then the tow truck fee.

Thanks.

Yup... pulled a car from Atlanta to San Diego.

It is the LEGAL way to do this... because the mandatory lights and such are part of the trailer.

I doubt you are going to save much, if anything, over the $50 tow.

Heck, it's only a couple blocks. Round up a couple big guys, put a couple pizzas at the finish line and challenge them that you know they can't push it all the way. If they can, they get the pizza.
