So I finally got a withholding order on my ex's paycheck and he quits the next working day!!! He had been working for this company for the past 3 years and, come to find out, was making a lot more than he lead me to believe(no surprise). He's over $14,000 behind. A week before the order was sent out he was trying to make arrangements with me to visit the kids....now come on...does he want to be a father or what. I really hate to order his rights away because I feel that my son will eventually really want to know who he is (even though I'd rather him not...). My daughter by him is 4 and only spent a couple months of her life with him so to her my current husband is her father. I guess the thing that really kills me is that he talks like he wants to be a father....of course his actions speak differently. He hasn't seen the kids for almost 2years. This is just crazy! Grrrrr....I would really love to have a baseball bat in hand and his thick skull right in front of me right now.
Sorry no question here. I just needed to vent.

sorry to hear about that ibcurious. I'm in the same boat. Ex hasn't seen our son is 2 years & calles out of the blue (after he went to court for support order) and now wants to "play daddy". Pisses me off so bad. I'm in the process now trying to see what rights he has untill we go to court for custody. Right now I guess it's my call if he sees him or not, but i don't want him to bring it up that i didn't let him see my son or something. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!
