What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA

Hi all,

I am not sure whether I am posting this message in the right thread. But I would really appreciate your help. I bought a Subaru Legacy six months ago for five grands. The price was the blue book value of a good car. Yesterday I discovered that I shall need a repair worth $3500. But the mechanic told me that they informed earlier about the problem. I was quite puzzled initially but then realized that it must have been the previous owner. So, the previous owner knew about the problem and did not tell me. With that problem the car won't be considered a good one and the price would have been significantly less. But it has been six month since I have purchased the car. What option do I have other than to suck it up and bear the cost of repair? If I need to contact a lawyer, what specialization should I look for?

Thanks for your comments.:mad::mad::mad:
