What is the name of your state? IL

A new resident moved in with her sister a month ago. My landlord has cameras all around so I'm sure he knows. Most of the residents at my complex do drug deals. It was really bad in the past. I had to complain about it and eventually management took action.

I've never heard of in my entire life even a friend to loan out a car. My only conclusion is maybe the residents are exchanging out marijuana , or cigarettes for them to be able to drive her car. As that's the usual drug people smoke or exchange, sell here.

I mean after all only the owner/ operator of the vehicle can drive that vehicle. I'm not stupid. I would let anyone drive my vehicle. Especially with insurance premiums high as they are even for a good driver like me.

I know the lease says one car per person or family.

Are you kidding me? Many people will allow a licensed friend/family member to use their car. That you would not is your choice. They choose to do that favor for others and, quite frankly, it's really none of your business.

And I would strongly suggest that you keep your bizarre assumptions that your neighbor is lend their car in exchange for drugs to yourself otherwise you could find yourself on the defendant side of a defamation lawsuit.

In regard to the bolded? I disagree.

You didn't ask a question, so I'm not sure what the point of this post is.

A new resident moved in with her sister a month ago.

Most of the residents at my complex do drug deals.

What do these two things have to do with each other?

I mean after all only the owner/ operator of the vehicle can drive that vehicle.

Huh?

I would let anyone drive my vehicle.

That's nice of you, but probably not too smart. It also seems to contradict your prior statement.

It is against the law.. If a police stops you and it's not your car. Duh you go to jail .

Ummm...no.

That is completely and totally untrue. It is just flat out not true. The only time someone would get arrested for driving a car that is not theirs, is if the car has been reported as stolen. I don't know where in the world you got information that is so blatantly wrong.
