We have filed for divorce 2X's, but no divorce was granted.
The first time, I let it go. The second time, the judge threw the case out after 1 year. My lawyer never submitted my interrogatories. He told me that day, almost 1 year later. My husband and his lawyer submitted interrogatories, they just wrote up 3 days before the case. The judge knew it was purgery, by the facts, that happened too recently. But he punished me and said the case will be thrown out. Now, 4 months later my husband called and said he just filed for divorce. He told me not to reply to the papers. He is having a civil suit against his lawyer. He needs it to look like he really wants to divorce me for his case. Ok, to make a long story short, about 2 months ago, I asked him to sign the refinance papers, I'll give him the money and the house is mine. Well he needed the cash so he signed all the papers and the deed plus taking responsibility of a truck, he had repo'd. So the house is in my name. I gave him a check for the house. On the check, I typed payment in full and my property address. He signed the deed over to me. I filed right away at the court house. He also signed an agreement for a vehicle that was repossess. THe agreement says he indemnifies me and will pay the debt.(witnesses w/notary). I also vacated 10,000 in child support arrears. Now, the only thing to our divorce is his pension (almost 5 years vested), annuity and alimony. Can I get permanent alimony. I will be without health insurance. I do recieve child support. He makes $56 an hour. I make $13 an hour. During the second divorce, he decided he wasn't going to work for 6 months. This time he's been working with loads of overtime. He works for the union. He said he was happy the way things are, but now he filed.
Should I try to go after his attorney for purgery or my attorney for not submitting my paperwork from the last divorce. I am so sad, I just need good advice. I know in my heart, my husband is out to get me. Dawnz
