What is the name of your state? Washington
I have lived in a trailer park for the past five years and approximately every 3-4 months my water gets turned off without any notice for what I imagine is repair work being done. These shutoffs last anywhere from a couple of hours to over a day, and I am seriously put out by this inconvenience. The managers have never commented on this situation and because they are rather hard to deal with, I haven't mentioned anything either. I am wondering however if it is legal for this to keep happening without any notice and for so long a period of time. Thanks for any help you can offer.

next time the water is off with zero notice call your county/city inspections department. DO also look in your state govt web page links for mobile home park rules.

My God

Grow up and COMMUNICATE with the management. Maybe the management isn't aware of the problem it is causing you. Maybe the management doesn't even realize that what they are doing is affecting you (whether they should or shouldn't know isn't what I'm talking about).

Before you start calling the authorities, try either talking to them nicely, or sending them a nice (polite) letter.
If that doesn't work, then you can continue with further action.

Yeesh . . . if that's all you have to complain about, you're leading a rather charmed life. ;)

Here in FL, we often have to boil our potable water (sometimes for as long as two weeks at a time)- either a pipe has burst, sewers overflowed (due to heavy rain/tropical storm), or just too many tourists taking a dump in the Gulf (yes, it happens) or emptying their RV waste tanks in inappropriate areas and affecting our groundwater.

Also, as an ex-military dependent who has lived in "base housing" - the military civil engineers would often shut off our water every other month for maintenance. I know many military wives who would envy your situation - every three to four months is not nearly as inconvenient as every other month! :)

But honestly, I would talk to management - perhaps call them under the guise of reporting the shut off water as a repair issue - "Hello, I just wanted to let you know that my water isn't working - could I put in a repair order, please?" - that might start a decent dialogue - you could then ask WHY it's shut off, mention that you weren't notified, and ask that in the future could they please let you know ahead of time . . . be nice, polite and understanding - even if you really want to smack them in the head for being inconsiderate. As my Gramma used to say, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar!
