What is the name of your state? GA
I am power of attorney (POA) and caring for a parent. We have discussed adding my name to home title so that it would not have to go through probate. The POA would presumably allow me to do that, but what if any problems do you see with this? Thanks

It would be classic self dealing for a POA to name himself as an owner, and potentially void or voidable.
