hi, I am currently under L-1 visa and collaborating with a non profit organization. My employer told me they will not sponsor me for a green card. Is it possible for the non profit to sponsor me? What would it take? Should I have to give up my current work or can I change my status based on the non profit and keep doing both things? Thanks

Please understand the difference between "will not" and "can not". Your questions are largely irrelevant because you can't FORCE them to sponsor you.
