What is the name of your state? PA
My friend had papers served to her husband two weeks ago filing for divorce. The papers also stated that neither one of them could sell anything. Her husband said he wanted to sell his guns. She said it could wait, just as the papers said. Tonight the guns are gone from the house. He also says he refuses to get an attorney. Their marriage has been one of tremendous mental abuse toward her and their children. He is very determined to do as he wishes and lets her know that. Her question is how can he be made to abide by the orders that were sent to him? And is this something she should call her attorney about? He believes that she will eventually "cave in" and return to being the "mouse" she has always been, but this is one mouse that is learning to roar. Thanks in advance for any info for her.

She should let her attorney know - the guns can still be included in the list of assets.

Thank you. She was curious b/c when her grandparents divorced, "Grandpa" and "Grandma" were told not to buy, sell, or remove anything and HE obeyed. "Grandma", on the other hand, went into the house with a group of people when Grandpa was gone and took EVERYTHING with the exception of 2 pair of his pajamas that she left in the middle of the kitchen floor and his little dog. And nothing was done about it, in court or out of court. Thanks for your input.

first if papers were served legally on him than yes she should tell her attorney if he does not claim what was made from selling the guns or they do not show up he could be found in contempt of court or not following orders so she most definetly needs to tell her attorney

Thank you for responding, upset_wisconsin. She will do that. We also video taped everything in the house. So she's rolling now! Thanks, stealth2 and upset_wisconsin, for your replies.
