My grandmother lives with my aunt ( they bought the house together)in Idaho, and my aunt will not "allow" any of the grandchildren to visit my grandmother. she says we can write her or email her but that we are not allowed to come there for a visit. My grandmother is not asnswering any of my letters, and my aunt is answering them instead. This all just seems very strange to the grandchildren. Despite multiple requests to visit, my aunt refuses us. this has us very worried about the health and welfare of my grandmother. should we attempt to go there anyway? Should we have someone go there and check on my Grandmother, or should we hire an attorney? Can we make my aunt let us see her? My aunt does not have power of attorney over my grandmother, my grandmother is coherant. We just cannot seem to make contact with her directly. Please, please help.
